Self Portrait - month 3 | November

Self portrait month 3. November has been an exciting and very busy month. Do you know what I'm talking about? Keep reading to know a little more about the new adventures the Wade crew is about to embark on.

With the end of the year just around the corner, with November comes the certainty of busy days, filled with gatherings, shopping and decorating.

For the Wade crew, this November came with packing, packing and packing. All on top of the great gatherings and Thanksgiving celebrations. I can't complain, though. The busy season, is even busier this year.

A couple months back, we didn't think this would be anything but a normal holiday season. It all started to change when I got my American Airlines miles earlier than expected and I was able to book our trip to Brazil in October. My ticket was all paid in miles! And with Evelyn traveling on my lap, we only paid about $200 for her ticket, round trip. Pretty awesome, right?!

Well, then we stumbled a property for sale in Dripping Springs, and suddenly what was once a 5 year goal, became a reality in 2 short months. With that, we had to put our house on the market and hope and pray for the best.

To make our dream come true, we will be living in a tiny little cabin until we build our forever home. We spent October and November tidying up, packing for the move and packing for our trip that is soon approaching.

Our Kyle house was the first place we called home. We made so many memories in it. Miley chewed the blinds and door frames back in 2015 when we had her for only 5 weeks. It was the home we came to with Baby Wade #1. It was the home we lived in for the first 3 1/2 years of marriage.

For most of November, the garage was filled with boxes that held most of what we own. We spent a lot of time there, first just filling it up with boxes, then rearranging the boxes to make space for a garage sale, then moving them out. It's only fair that my November self portrait was taken there.

If you have ever been to our house, you probably know that Jacob and I like to keep the garage clean and empty. This is a little overwhelming, but all worth it.
